url:unpack (Deprecated)

Deprecated as of Content Server version 4.0, replaced by the render tags.

Syntax

<url:unpack 
      value="inputstring" 
      varname="varname"/> 

Parameters

value (required)

Input parameter. Packed input string.

varname (required)

Input and output parameter. As input, name of the variable to hold the unpacked string on output.

Description

Use this tag for form elements that have been packed because they contain questionable JSP characters. You do not need to unpack URL values because the application server does it.
