FTValList.setValString

Adds a String value to the FTValList, using the associated key name.

Syntax

public int 
setValString(String key,
             String val)

Parameters

key

Name of the key to add to the FTValList.

val

Value to assign using the key.

Returns

Zero (0) on success, -1 on failure.

Example

This example adds a String value to a FTValList:

FTValList fList = new FTValList();
fList.setValString("errormsg" , "File not found.");
